Information Collection and UseAssetStream Gift Processing Center (“AssetStream”) is committed to ensuring your privacy is protected. AssetStream is the sole owner of any information collected using our OptiGift donation software tool. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways differently from what is disclosed in this statement. The information AssetStream collects from users of OptiGift is used only for the purpose of logging and processing donations. Donors and DonationsIf a user wishes to make a donation using OptiGift, AssetStream collects personal information necessary to carry out the transaction. The personal information collected from users includes name, address, telephone and fax numbers, email, type of stock and amount that the user wishes to donate, the user's brokerage firm and brokerage account number. We may use the user's email address, mailing address, and/or phone/fax numbers to provide instructions or to communicate with him/her regarding the transaction (for example, a tax receipt may be emailed once the gift is completed). Log Files and CookiesWe use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. We do not permanently store any information on the user's computer in the form of "cookies." Sharing and SellingThe user's personally identifiable information will be shared with his/her brokerage firm only for the purpose and to the extent necessary to carry out the gift transaction. The user's personally identifiable information will also be shared with the charity designated to receive the gift unless the user has requested to remain anonymous, in which case the charity will not receive any personally identifiable information. If a user initiates a transaction using OptiGift from a third party website, user's personally identifiable information may be shared with that party to the extent necessary to complete the transaction. Except for the preceding, AssetStream will not share personally identifiable information with any person or organization. AssetStream will not sell personally identifiable information to any person or organization. We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. LinksOptiGift may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that AssetStream is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave OptiGift and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by AssetStream. SecurityAssetStream takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via OptiGift, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our site asks users to enter sensitive information (such as brokerage account number), that information is encrypted and is protected during transmission using SSL. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is stored in a secure environment. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, customer service representatives) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Users are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. Notification of ChangesIf we change our privacy policy, we will post notice of those changes at www.AssetStream.com so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users via email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
